Hydro Tec at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show
We are pleased to confirm that, following the success of the 2023 edition, Hydro Tec will once again participate in the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show. We will be present in the Design & Innovation Hub, where we will join the world’s top designers and naval architects. Our team will be available to discuss new projects, new offerings, and partnership opportunities.
“As we approach our 30th anniversary,” says Sergio Cutolo, President and Founder of Hydro Tec, “we continue to experience exponential growth. As we announced last year, we recognized the need to restructure and enhance our various departments to keep pace with a market that shows no signs of slowing down after the pandemic. This expansion drives us to specialize further, implementing advanced processes and increasing our direct workforce.”
Join Us at the Design & Innovation Hub
Be sure to visit our stand in the Design & Innovation Hub. We will proudly showcase the M/Y Maverick, a 45-meter Explorer Yacht built by Cantiere delle Marche, which will also be on display at their stand.
This year, Hydro Tec is leveraging the unique platform of the Monaco Yacht Show to share insights from our experts and present some of our most significant projects. This initiative is not just about engaging with industry peers or explaining our unique integrated approach; it’s also about inspiring the next generation of talent. Each day, members from our various branches will be available to discuss their work and the opportunities within our industry.
“In recent years, Hydro Tec has not only grown internally but has also developed a strong group of affiliated companies that can manage different phases of yacht design and construction,” explains Davide Minieri, Managing Director of Hydro tec. “This group approach allows us to present ourselves as a single point of contact, from concept development to yacht delivery, reducing the burden of communication and integration for shipyards dealing with multiple stakeholders.”
An example of this group vision is Marine Nest, a joint venture with Baglietto Srl, a leading supplier of bulb flats, marine steel, and aluminum to the shipbuilding and ship repair industry worldwide, with over 100 years of experience. Marine Nest focuses on the production of nesting services, providing shipyards with detailed assembly guides, drawing on the extensive expertise of its co-founding companies.
Exclusive Concept Unveiling and Special Events
Beginning on Thursday, September 26th, at 16:20 in the Design & Innovation Hub's conference hall, Hydro Tec will unveil its latest concept: an astonishing 80-meter yacht named after the renowned British warship Valiant. This concept uniquely marries aggressive naval elements with sleek, automotive-inspired aesthetics. The design stands out not only for its striking combination of contrasting stylistic elements but also for the seamless flow and connectivity of the interior spaces. Each area is designed to allow effortless transitions from one space to another, ensuring complete privacy without sacrificing the openness and fluidity of the layout.
We are also excited to host a special, one-of-a-kind initiative dedicated to young Designers on Saturday. Every child who visits our stand will receive a personalized gadget and have the opportunity to design the yacht of the future alongside our designers. The most innovative designs will be featured in a special showcase on our social media channels.
Also on Saturday the 28th, some of our esteemed female engineers will be available to share their experiences and discuss their areas of expertise in this predominantly male industry. Hydro Tec is proud to have a female representation of almost 50% in technical positions, significantly higher than the global average of 17%.
On this topic, our Chief Marketing Officer, Myriam Cutolo, will be participating in a conference organized by the International Women’s Association (IWA) on Friday at 4:00 PM at the IHO in Monte Carlo.
We look forward to welcoming you to our stand and sharing our passion for innovation and design at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show.
